2026 Utah Youth Suicide Research Project
The Utah Youth Suicide Research Project (UYSRP) is a population-wide study of youth who died by suicide in Utah. In 2018, The Governor’s Task Force on Teen Suicide, which would later become the Governor’s Task Force on Suicide, called for in-depth research to better understand the reasons why youth in Utah were dying by suicide at alarmingly high rates.
